The Turkey e-Visa for Bangladeshi citizens is an electronic visa that allows visits to the Republic of Turkey for tourism or trade. It can be obtained quickly and easily by applying online.

The Turkish government created the Turkey e-Visa in 2013 to facilitate international tourism and visits. The e-Visa replaces the previous “sticker visa” and offers numerous advantages to visitors from Bangladesh with a more competitive price, online availability, and quicker processing times.

Do Bangladeshis Need a Visa for Turkey?

Yes, citizens of Bangladesh must have a visa to enter Turkey.

According to the Turkish visa policy, Bangladeshi tourists and business travelers must apply online for an electronic visa (e-Visa).

With this online visa, Bangladeshis are exempt from having to schedule in-person appointments at an embassy or consulate.

They can simply apply for the e-Visa and obtain it from the comfort of their homes. It is possible to get a Turkish e-Visa for Bangladeshi citizens using any computer or device with an internet connection.

The Turkey e-Visa for Bangladeshis is valid for 6 months upon issuance. It grants visitors a single entry and a stay of 30 days. Bangladeshi nationals can use the e-Visa for tourism, business, or transiting through and entering Turkey by air, road, or sea.

Turkey e-Visa Requirements for Bangladeshi Citizens

Visitors from Bangladesh must meet a few basic requirements to apply for the Turkey e-Visa online.

The following items are required to complete the application:

  • Valid passport
  • Email address
  • Credit or debit card
  • Valid visa or residence permit from a Schengen Area country, Ireland, the UK, or the US
  • Hotel reservation
  • Proof of sufficient funds ((US$50 per day)

Bangladeshi applicants must ensure their passport will be valid for at least 60 days on the date they reach Turkey.

Since all the communication from the Turkish government will be sent  by email, travelers should provide an address that they frequently use. This is especially important since the Turkey eVisa, once granted, will be automatically issued via email.

There is a small processing fee to cover the cost of the e-Visa. Travelers from Bangladesh can cover this using a credit or debit card authorized for online transactions.

Turkey e-Visa Application Form for Bangladeshi Passport Holders

Bangladeshi citizens must complete a short Turkish e-Visa application form. This is an online questionnaire with straightforward questions that Bangladeshis must answer. They will be required to share the following information:

  • Personal information (full name, date of birth, citizenship)
  • Passport details (number, date of issue, date of expiry)
  • Travel plans (dates of travel, tickets, accommodation confirmation)
  • Supporting documents (The Turkish government might require some extra information)

Bangladeshis must ensure they apply for the Turkey e-Visa using the same passport as the one they will visit the country with. The e-Visa will be automatically linked to this passport and cannot be transferred to another travel document. This is important for Bangladeshi citizens who might hold dual citizenship or who have replaced their original passport before traveling.

Lastly, travelers from some countries, including Bangladesh, will also be required to confirm they have additional supporting documents.

Bangladeshi applicants should check all their answers are correct and accurate. They will not be able to amend any of their responses after submitting their form. Any irregularities could delay the approval of the e-Visa.
