Turkey e-Visa Requirements for Citizens of Bangladesh

  • Simplified Application Form
  • Expert Application Review
  • Approved visa or money back

The Turkish government created the Turkey e-Visa in 2013 to facilitate international tourism and visits. The e-Visa replaces the previous “sticker visa” and offers numerous advantages to foreign visitors with a more competitive price, online availability, and quicker processing times.

The Turkish visa policy details the main features the e-Visa offers to international travelers. The Turkey e-Visa is valid for 6 months upon issuance. It grants Bangladeshi visitors a single entry and a stay of 30 days. Bangladeshi nationals can use the e-Visa for tourism, business, or transiting through and entering Turkey by air, road, or sea.

With this online visa, Bangladeshis are exempt from having to schedule personal appointments at an embassy or consulate. They can simply apply for the e-Visa and obtain it from the comfort of their homes.

Turkey e-Visa Requirements for Bangladeshi Citizens

Before initiating the application for a Turkey e-Visa we recommend you read through the visa requirements for international travelers. Visitors from Bangladesh must make sure they meet the following conditions for online visas:

  • Valid Passport
  • 2 blank pages available in the same passport
  • Email address
  • Credit or debit card

Bangladeshi applicants must ensure their passport will be valid for at least 60 days (6 months) on the date they reach Turkey. They should also check it contains at least 2 blank pages for entry and exit stamps.

Since all the communication from the Turkish government will be sent by email, we recommend providing an email address that applicants frequently use. This is especially important since the Turkey eVisa, once granted, will be automatically issued via email.

Additionally, they should check the credit or debit card they will use to pay the e-Visa processing fee carries sufficient funds and is activated for online transactions.

Bangladeshi passport holders who plan to travel to Turkey for a more prolonged visit or intend to relocate for full-time employment or higher education should organize a visit to the Turkish embassy in Dhaka for further details.

Turkey e-Visa Application Form for Bangladeshi Passport Holders

Once Bangladeshi citizens confirm the e-Visa suits their travel needs and they meet the requirements, they can proceed to the Turkish e-Visa application form. This is an online questionnaire with straightforward questions that Bangladeshis must answer. They will be required to share the following information:

  • Personal information (full name, date of birth, citizenship)
  • Passport details (number, issuance, expiry date)
  • Travel plans (dates of travel, tickets, accommodation confirmation)
  • Supporting documents (The Turkish government might require some extra information)

Bangladeshis must ensure they apply for the Turkey e-Visa using the same passport as the one they will visit the country with. The e-Visa will be automatically linked to this passport and cannot be transferred to another travel document. This is important for Bangladeshi citizens who might hold dual citizenship or who have replaced their original passport before traveling.

Lastly, travelers from some countries, including Bangladesh, will also be required to confirm they have additional supporting documents.

Bangladeshi applicants should revise all their answers are correct and accurate. They will not be able to amend any of their responses after submitting their form. Any irregularities could delay the approval of the e-Visa.

Traveling to Turkey with Underage Visitors from Bangladesh

If your visiting party includes underage travelers, then you must note that each person must arrive with their own individually approved e-Visa. Parents can fill out their dependents’ form on their behalf using the same mail ID for communications and the same payment method without any problems.

Payment of the e-Visa Processing Fee for Bangladeshi Applicants

Bangladeshi citizens complete the application process with the payment of the e-Visa processing fee. Most international credit and debit cards are allowed: and the requesters must simply confirm they are activated for online payments.

How Will Bangladeshis Receive their Turkey e-Visa?

The Turkish government evaluates all the applications received for the e-Visa and usually replies with a confirmation email within 24 hours. We recommend Bangladeshi applicants submit their form at least 2 to 3 business days before traveling to account for busy touristic periods.

The e-Visa will be available via a downloadable link. Bangladeshis must print out a copy of their e-Visa and display it to border control officials when they reach Turkey.

Traveling to Turkey with the e-Visa from Bangladesh

Bangladeshis with an approved e-Visa are eligible to travel to Turkey. As mentioned above, once they reach border control, they will be required to display their granted e-Visa along with their passport to gain authorized entry into the country. We recommend they keep their e-Visa with them at all times during their visit.

Bangladeshi passport holders must note the visa on arrival is not available for their nationality. Before arriving, they must have an e-Visa or an alternative travel document. Lastly, they should plan their arrival within their e-Visas’ validity to be granted 30 days of visitation.
