  • Simplified Application Form
  • Expert Application Review
  • Approved visa or money back

If you are a British citizen traveling to Singapore, you must obtain the Singapore Electronic Arrival Card, also known as the SG Arrival Card, to gain permission to enter the country.

The Singapore Arrival Card is designed to expedite the arrival process of British travelers by avoiding time-consuming queues when they arrive in Singapore.

To successfully receive a Singapore Electronic Arrival Card you must follow the Singapore SG Arrival Card requirements for British citizens.

What is the Singapore Electronic Arrival Card for British Nationals?

The SG Arrival Card is available for travelers visiting Singapore for a short stay of 30 days or less. This includes the United Kingdom.

The visa policy for Singapore details the requirements that all foreign nationals must abide by when visiting Singapore, one of them being the SG Arrival Card.

British visitors must hold a SG Arrival Card just as every other traveler that is entering Singapore. This permit allows UK citizens a single-entry stay of up to 30 consecutive days in the country.

The SG Arrival Card is not a visa. Travelers from the United Kingdom wishing to stay for more than 30 days will require a visa in addition to the Singapore Electronic Arrival Card.

Do UK citizens need a visa to enter Singapore?

British citizens traveling to Singapore for a stay longer than 30 days will require a visa in addition to their SG Arrival Card.

If that is the case, it is recommended that they contact the Singaporean embassy in London.

Nationals of the United Kingdom must note the SG Arrival Card in no way replaces the need of a visa.

Application Steps for a Singapore SG Arrival Card as a British Citizen

As a British citizen, you are required to complete and submit the application form for a Singapore SG Arrival Card before you travel to Singapore.

Some personal information, travel details and passport data is required from UK citizens during the SG Arrival Card application process.

The first step is to complete this information with true, accurate data regarding the UK passenger.

The second step is paying the Singapore Arrival Card processing fee. British applicants can do it via a debit or credit card with sufficient funds and authorized to make international, online payments.

The third step is submitting the information and waiting to receive confirmation by email.

It is important that British citizens double-check the information provided to check this is correct. Errors on the form can lead to delays when processing the Singapore Electronic Arrival Card.

The Singapore Electronic Arrival Card Online application process is straightforward. It takes place entirely online, meaning there is no requirement to visit an embassy or consulate.

How will I receive my Singapore SG Arrival Card as a British citizen?

Once British applicants have submitted your form, their Singapore SG Arrival Card application is usually processed within 1-2 business days.

The approved Singapore Electronic Arrival Card is also electronically linked to the British passport. A copy will also be sent to the email address on the application form.

This means that if the UK passport is lost, damaged, or stolen before traveling to Singapore, citizens of the United Kingdom will need to reapply for a new Singapore Electronic Arrival Card with their new passport details.
