Singapore Arrival Card Requirements for Citizens of the United States

  • Simplified Application Form
  • Expert Application Review
  • Approved visa or money back

The Government of Singapore has introduced the Singapore Electronic Arrival Card, which is available to American travelers.

This document replaces the previous paper-based Disembarkation and Embarkation Card (D/E Card) system.

The SG Arrival Card is an online travel authorization that grants selected nationalities, including the United States of America, entry into the country for specific visits and temporary visits. US visitors can apply for it online within 25 minutes without having to queue at the airport upon landing.

Main Features of the Singapore Arrival Card for American Travelers

The visa policy for Singapore publishes the conditions foreigners must meet and what documentation they require to visit their country.

US citizens must note that the Arrival Card for Singapore is not a visa. It is a mandatory travel card that must be obtained regardless of the nationality of the applicant or their motive for travel.

The SG Arrival Card links electronically to the US passport once it is granted.

Some nationalities require both a visa and an SG Arrival Card. If traveling for 30 days or less, Americans are exempt from needing a Singapore visa, which means they can go straight ahead and request the Arrival Card.

They can also enter Singapore by any international port of entry (air, sea, or road crossings coming in from Malaysia).
