British citizens who wish to obtain a Rwanda eVisa must fill out the online visa application form that takes around 15 minutes to complete.
Applicants from the UK are asked to fill in personal details regarding their:
- First name and surname
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Country of birth
There will also be a subsection asking for their contact information, such as a valid email address, phone number, and home address.
It is important to note that British applicants must provide an email address that they frequently check, as this is where the approved Rwanda eVisa will be sent to.
The second section will ask applicants from the United Kingdom to type in the passport data, including:
- UK passport serial number
- Passport’s date of issue
- Passport’s expiration date
- Passport nationality.
There will be a special field where UK applicants must upload their passport biography page (which includes all of the aforementioned details).
After filling out the application, it is recommended that citizens of the United Kingdom double-check each answer to make sure that it is free of errors or typos. If the information provided was false, misleading, or incorrect, Rwanda’s Directorate of Immigration may reject or delay the approval of the eVisa.
Once everything looks good, British applicants will need to pay the Rwanda eVisa processing fee in order to successfully submit their application.
