Travelers heading to Ireland must enter the required information into the online health declaration form application.
First, passengers must provide the number of the cell phone (mobile phone) they will be using during their stay in Ireland. A verification code will then be sent to this number. The applicant must use this code to log in and complete the passenger locator form for Ireland online registration.
The form asks travelers to enter their details into the required fields. Information that must be provided includes the following:
- Personal information (name, nationality, etc.)
- Passport details
- Email address
- Address of accommodation in Ireland
- Travel details (flight/ferry number, name of airline or ferry company, etc.)
The individual must then declare that they have proof of one of the following:
- Full vaccination
- Recovery from coronavirus
- Negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result from within the last 72 hours
Those arriving from countries in the European Union can use the EU Digital COVID Certificate (EUDCC) as proof. This digital certificate includes any relevant certificates or tests in all 3 categories.
Once the Passenger Locator Form is completed, the passenger will receive an email with a receipt. This must be shown to board a plane or ferry to the Republic of Ireland. It may also be necessary to show the receipt at border control on arrival.
