As mentioned previously, UK travelers must plan their arrival to be within 30 days (one month) of their eVisa approval. They must arrive within this period. Otherwise, their approved eVisa will not be valid, and they will need a new one. They must also plan their departure to be within 3 months of their arrival to be in compliance with the granted 90 days of the Kuwait eVisa.
UK tourists can enter Kuwait by air, sea, or road. Upon reaching border controls, they must submit their passports and a printed copy of their eVisa for inspection before being authorized to enter the country. During their stay in Kuwait, we also recommend they keep it with them.
UK passengers transiting through Kuwait on their way to another destination do not need a Kuwait eVisa if they remain within the International Transit Area. If they would like to briefly exit the airport for some quick sightseeing or shopping during their stop, they must have an approved eVisa return punctually to their boarding gate before their connecting flight.
British visitors in Kuwait who would like to prolong their stay in Kuwait can request an eVisa extension. To obtain the extension, they must have their reference number at hand during their request.
