US applicants with an approved Kuwait eVisa will receive a confirmation email with their electronic visa attached. They must print out a copy and keep it next to their travel documents before their departure.
The evaluation process for the Kuwait eVisa can take from 24 to 72 hours. We recommend American tourists to apply at least 5 business days before their arrival to account for any delays during busy touristic periods.
Please note that once they receive the eVisa, Americans have 30 days to enter Kuwait. If their arrival is later than this period, the eVisa is annulled, and they will require a new one. They should also plan their departure to be no longer than 3 months after entering the country since the maximum number of days they can remain in the country is 90.
Upon reaching border controls, American visitors will be required to submit their passport and printed eVisa for inspection before being granted entry into the country. We recommend they safe-keep their printed eVisa with them at all times while in the country.
