  • Expert Application Review
  • Approved visa or money back

Kenya has made it possible for several citizens, including Swedish passport holders, to apply for an electronic visa. This Kenya eVisa is a way to expedite the visa application process and make it easier for foreign nationals to apply for electronic authorization to enter Kenya.

The eVisa is suitable for travelers wishing to enter Kenya for reasons of tourism, business, or medical treatments for a short stay of up to 90 days.

Nationals of Sweden wishing to apply must follow the Kenya eVisa requirements for Swedish citizens.

What is the Kenya Visa for Swedish Applicants?

The Kenya eVisa for Swedish nationals is an electronic document that shows travelers are pre-authorized to enter the country. This online visa application is quick, simple and straightforward, which makes the travel experience for citizens of Sweden easier.

Once approved, you will be issued a single-entry Kenya eVisa via email. This document is also electronically linked to your Swedish passport. It authorizes the holder to spend a maximum of 90 days in the country.

Single entry means that if you exit Kenya while on your trip and wish to re-enter the country you will need to apply for a new electronic visa.

If you wish to stay in Kenya for a longer period once you are in the country, you can extend the Kenya eVisa by a further 90 days. You are required to visit the immigration department in Nairobi on the day your eVisa expires. You will then receive a new tourist visa, valid for an extra 90 days’ stay in Kenya.
