How will New Zealanders receive their online Kenyan eVisa?

New Zealand citizens who get their application for the Kenya eVisa approved will have their travel document digitally linked to the NZ passport they applied with.

Additionally, the approved eVisa Kenya will be sent to the applicant in PDF format by email. For this reason, it is very important that applicants provide a valid email address when submitting their Kenyan online visa application.

Traveling from New Zealand to Kenya on an electronic visa

Before traveling to Kenya from New Zealand, eVisa holders should print a hard copy of their travel document and keep it with their passport. Other important documentation that New Zealand citizens visiting Kenya should carry with them includes:

New Zealanders traveling on the Kenyan eVisa can extend their 90-day stay in Kenya as long as they request a visa extension in Nairobi’s Immigration Headquarters. This must be done before the current eVisa expires. The extension allows NZ citizens to stay in Kenya for another 90 consecutive days.
