The citizens of New Zealand who wish to travel to Jordan can opt for a Jordan Pass, which is a travel document that lets travelers explore Jordan’s popular tourist attractions without having to pay any extra entry fees.

The Jordan Pass for New Zealanders also includes the cost of a tourist visa for Jordan, provided citizens of NZ stay in the Kingdom for a minimum of 4 days and 3 nights.

What Can New Zealanders Do with a Jordan Pass?

The all-access Jordan Pass for New Zealanders grants travelers:

  • Entry to over 40 attractions present in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
  • Free tourist brochures of the NZ citizens’ favourite sightseeing spots

The entry pass for Jordan also waives the tourist visa fee payments as long as New Zealand applicants obtain the Jordan Pass before traveling to the country and if they remain in Jordan for at least 3 nights.

These include landmarks like Amman Citadel, Karak Castle, Church of the Apostles, Petra, and more. With this pass, visitors from New Zealand can explore prominent points of interest without having to stand in long queues and buying entry tickets.

Do NZ visitors need a Jordan visa?

Yes, applicants from NZ need a visa to enter Jordan. In this sense, it is important that New Zealander passport holders learn the Jordan Pass is not a visa, but a sightseeing tourist package.

Therefore, and following the Jordan visa policy, NZ visitors need to obtain a proper visa in addition to the pass. Provided travelers stay in the country for at least 3 nights, they can consider the visa fee included in the purchase price of the Jordan Pass.
