Citizens of Australia who are thinking of traveling to Jordan for tourism can now apply online for a Jordan Pass

This electronic travel document allows Australians a single entry into the country for up to 30 consecutive days.

After abiding by the country’s entry requirements and obtaining the Jordan Pass, Australian travelers can simply show the document at the airport upon arrival.

How Does the Jordan Pass for Australians Work?

The Jordan Pass is designed to serve Australians as a sightseeing package. This means holders from Australia are granted access to several locations in the country while covering other costs such as the Jordan tourist visa fee in most cases, and free brochures.

Australians can use the Jordan Pass for up to 12 months from the issue date.

Please be advised that the Jordan Pass for Australian visitors is not a visa. Although this document grants entry to the country’s attractions and covers the visa fee, an actual visa must be also requested.

Travelers are advised to check the general visa requirements for Australians, where most conditions before traveling abroad are covered.

What ports can Australians use to enter Jordan?

Australian nationals are allowed to access the country with a Jordan Pass if they use one of the following ports of entry:

Air: Queen Alia International Airport (Amman Airport)

Land: Sheikh Hussein Bridge (Jordan River Bridge) and Wadi Araba border (Eilat-Aqaba border).
