Gabon e-Visa Requirements

In order to apply for an e-Visa for Gabon, it is first necessary to meet the online Gabon visa requirements.

Electronic Gabon tourist visa requirements are the same as those applying for a transit or business visa, and state that the applicant must have:

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of arrival in Gabon, containing at least one blank page
  • Digital image of the passport information page
  • Recent color photograph of the applicant, passport-style
  • Current email address to which the visa for Gabon approval will be sent

Upon arrival at Léon-Mba International Airport, the traveler is required to present a printed copy of the entry authorization and pay the Gabon visa fees to receive a visa sticker in their passport and gain entry to the country.

All passengers arriving in Gabon must have a medical certificate showing a negative coronavirus PCR test result issued within the previous 3 days before departure from the first embarkation point, with the exception of children under 6 years old. Passengers must also have a confirmed quarantine hotel reservation for 24 hours, with the exception of those younger than 6, holders of a diplomatic passport, and passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they are fully vaccinated. Arrivals aged 6 and older are subject to another PCR test at their own expense. All nationals of the following countries (except residents of Gabon) are currently barred from entering the country: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
