What Is the Egypt e-Visa for New Zealanders?

The Egyptian e-Visa (also known as the Electronic Egypt Tourist Visa Authorization) is a convenient new program that allows travelers from more than 40 different countries, including New Zealand, to visit Egypt on a simplified electronic visa.

The application process for the e-Visa for Egypt is done entirely online and takes less than 15 minutes to complete. This means that travelers from New Zealand do not have to visit their nearest Egyptian embassy, obtain a local sponsor, or send paperwork through the mail and wait for a visa.

The Egyptian e-Visa allows New Zealand travelers to stay in Egypt for up to 30 days. It is valid for 90 days from the date of issue.

There are two options that visitors from New Zealand can choose from: a single-entry visa or a multiple-entry visa. Those who choose the multiple-entry visa are allowed to travel in and out of Egypt as many times as they wish as long as it is within the allotted time period.
