South Korean nationals with a Cambodian e-Visa are permitted to enter the Kingdom and stay for short-term periods. The visa allows trips that meet the following criteria:

  • Tourism and leisure activities only
  • Single entry to Cambodia
  • Up to 30 days in the country

Business trips and other activities are not covered by the terms of the e-Visa for Cambodia. South Koreans who wish to visit for any purpose other than tourism must obtain the relevant type of visa at a diplomatic mission.

However, the e-Visa is the most convenient way to get permission to take a holiday in Cambodia.

Cambodia e-Visa Application for South Koreans

Citizens of South Korea must fill in a Cambodia e-Visa application form online to receive authorization to travel to the Southeast Asian nation.

The simple questionnaire takes little time to complete. The Korean applicant must simply enter the necessary information into the relevant fields.

First, some basic personal information about the South Korean traveler is required:

  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Nationality
  • Country of birth

South Koreans applying for a Cambodia e-Visa must also provide their contact details — these are needed to receive the visa:

  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Residential address

The applicant must have a valid South Korean passport and enter the following details:

  • Passport number
  • Issuing country
  • Date of issue
  • Date of expiry

Nationals of South Korea are also required to include some details about their visit to Cambodia:

  • Address where they plan to stay in Cambodia
  • Reason for the visit
  • Port of entry
  • Date of arrival

Do children need to complete a Cambodia e-Visa application for South Koreans?

According to Cambodia’s visa policy, each individual South Korean citizen traveling to Cambodia must carry a valid e-Visa. This rule applies to children and other individuals who may not be able to complete their own application form.

Parents/guardians may complete the questionnaire on behalf of their dependents. A separate form must be completed for each traveler.

Documents Required for the Cambodia e-Visa for South Korean Citizens

Cambodia has a number of visa requirements for South Koreans, which must be met to obtain the e-Visa.

These requirements include providing a number of documents and other items to support the visa application. Travelers from South Korea should have these things to hand when completing the online form.

Requirements for the Cambodia e-Visa for South Koreans include the following:

  • Valid Republic of Korea passport
  • Passport-style photograph of the Korean applicant
  • Email address
  • Credit/debit card

The South Korean passport must also meet certain requirements. It must continue to be valid for a minimum of 6 months after visiting Cambodia. The passport also has to contain at least 2 blank pages to receive stamps when arriving in and departing from the country.

It is essential to provide a current email address. The e-Visa for Cambodia will be sent to this account.

The South Korean traveler must also provide a method of payment (i.e. a bank card) to cover the processing fee for the Cambodia e-Visa.

Traveling to Cambodia from South Korea

The Cambodia e-Visa will be delivered to South Korean applicants by email (to the address they submitted on the online form).

South Korean travelers must print 2 copies of the e-Visa and present them at immigration when arriving in Cambodia, along with their passport.

This must be the same Republic of Korea passport whose details they entered in the application.

  • Siem Reap International Airport
  • Sihanoukville International Airport
